Using BinaryPaper
BinaryPaper software creates printable backups and restores compatible backups. Use it lawfully and only with content you are entitled to process. PRO unlocks paid software features; it does not transfer ownership of the software or provide a cloud backup service. The current Google Play-distributed app remains subject to the applicable Google Play terms and app licensing conditions.
What is available today
The Android app is available through Google Play. Free creation supports one file or text note up to 32 KB after compression. Android PRO is an optional one-time lifetime purchase made inside the app through Google Play. The store displays your local price before purchase. PRO adds larger backups, multiple files and folders, manual controls, additional paper formats, and multiple calibration profiles per paper size.
Recovery and backup safety
Recovery of supported backups is free, offline, and does not require an account or purchase, including for backups created with PRO. Free and PRO use the same encryption, redundancy, calibration, and verification technology. Verify printed backups before relying on them, keep independent copies where needed, and keep your password safe: BinaryPaper cannot reset a forgotten backup password. An unencrypted backup can be read by anyone who has enough of its printed codes.
Planned website purchases
The planned website offer is a one-time lifetime, account-backed PRO purchase with regional pricing, approximately US$10 in the United States. It includes the same PRO capabilities as Android lifetime PRO. When website purchases launch, a single lifetime PRO purchase will be linked to your BinaryPaper account and unlock PRO in supported, account-enabled BinaryPaper applications when you sign in to that same account. Additional platforms are planned. We intend to make the same lifetime PRO entitlement available across supported platforms without requiring a separate purchase for each one. Compatibility depends on the availability of supported releases.
Purchase channels and seller
Current Android PRO purchases use Google Play Billing and the applicable Google Play purchase terms. Paddle is the intended Merchant of Record and authorized reseller for future website transactions. When that offer launches, Paddle will handle payment, applicable taxes, receipts, and refunds under the applicable Paddle buyer terms together with the published BinaryPaper offer. Paddle does not currently process BinaryPaper website purchases. Final regional pricing, tax presentation, the payable total, and applicable order terms will be shown before a future payment.
Accounts and compatibility
Account-backed purchases and account linking are coming soon. Website checkout and account-backed PRO are not available in the currently released Android app. Future website purchases will be linked to your BinaryPaper account, so you can access PRO by signing in to that same account in supported, account-enabled BinaryPaper applications. Existing Google Play lifetime purchases retain their current Android ownership and restoration behavior. Accounts manage purchase evidence and paid access; they do not store your backup content or become a condition for recovery. Account deletion permanently removes the account and account-level entitlements; it does not itself cancel or refund external purchases.
Refunds and consumer rights
Current Google Play purchases follow the Google Play refund policy. The planned Paddle offer includes a full refund requested within 30 calendar days, without requiring a technical defect; the request date determines eligibility even if processing takes longer. After 30 days, refunds remain available where required by applicable consumer law, including for defective or materially misdescribed software. Other requests may be considered individually. Mandatory consumer rights are not limited by these terms.
